Leadership roles

Hammersmith and Fulham Friends of the Earth is run entirely by volunteers. So there are opportunities to get involved in all sorts of things including the running the group. 

• Events coordinator- how about you?
  (one off basis - normally monthly Mondays, 7.30-10.00pm, plus Saturday event)  
  Once you have some experience of attending our events you might like to get involved in organising something. We have guidelines on how to do this, training , plus lots of the support from the group. In this role you need to make sure that the key things happen and volunteers have information they need to get involved.
  
  

• Chairing meeting - how about you?  
  (one off basis - normally monthly Mondays, 7.30-10.00pm, 30min+)  
  We like to run meetings in a highly participative and engaging way, often with breakout sessions where smaller groups can plan particular activities.  We  rotate the chairing of our meetings. Is this something you have skills in or would like to try?
  
  

• Recruitment Support  - how about you?  
  (one off basis, anytime you like)
  We have been rapidly growing over the last few years and are always aiming to improve membership size and participation  levels. We would like to improve the diversity of our group, attract  people who are active in the local community and people with particular skills. Would you like to help us to continue to grow? This could be by helping welcome new members, helping members get to know each other and settle in or assisting with advertising, the welcome pack or attracting in new members.
