Kensington and Chelsea offer doorstep recycling.The
following materials can be collected in one bag:
paper
of any description, newspapers, magazines,
cardboard, junk mail, telephone directories and
envelopes,
glass bottles and jars,
milk
and juice cartons,
plastic
bottles
rags
and textiles
Recycling bags are prices
£3 for 50.
Residents
with garden waste to dispose may also purchase special RBCK Garden
Waste Bags. Green waste means leaves and garden cuttings. These bags
are £3.00 for 10. or £6.75 for businesses.
Both types of bags can be purchased

Hounslow
In the year 2000-2001
Hounslow managed to recycle over 17% of this through the a doorstep
collection scheme plus a number of recycling sites. This is thanks to the ongoing support of the
residents of Hounslow borough but they do need to recycle more.
Hounslow also have a community waste action group called CRAG (Chiswick
